Member of professional registers:

Jemma is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Accredited EMDR Europe Practitioner. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a member of the Association of Family Therapy (AFT), EMDR- UK, and Trauma Aid UK.

Services:

Jemma offers Psychological therapy for all adult mental health difficulties and, in addition, is able to offer support with the management of chronic pain and with sleep difficulties. Her preferred treatment approaches are Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR); Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Systemic Family Therapy.

She works with individuals, couples and families. She has a special interest in working with the legacy of traumatic events and relationships and in working with the impact of trauma on the body. She is experienced in treating past trauma and recent trauma. She also works with a Trauma-Informed Yoga Practitioner to offer a Trauma-Sensitive Yoga group course here at the Happy Body Project Wellness Centre.

Through her work with various charities, Jemma is experienced in working with palliative care issues, military veterans, asylum seekers, and offering psychological support to public inquiries. Jemma also offers treatment to help with the management of chronic pain and the management of sleep difficulties.
