About Paul:

Paul sees himself as a reflective practitioner, who likes to explore the meaning behind thoughts and behaviours and how they affect us emotionally. He believes in a highly collaborative approach, with the client actively shaping their treatment and future outcomes. He places a strong emphasis on an eclectic approach, drawing on all aspects of his training and enjoys being creative in the techniques he delivers. He has a special interest in Mindfulness, as well as Compassion Focused Therapy, with both forming part of his CBT training at Royal Holloway. Paul often combines these approaches with his traditional CBT practice, or can use them as stand-alone techniques. Paul has also received training in CBT for insomnia, and can offer specific treatment around sleep difficulties.
